Camp Latgawa   Eagle Point, OR

An early colloquium of natural builders was hosted by this camp, where the organizers asked me to give a presentation on principles of site planning. To make the lessons tangible, I used the camp grounds for good and faulty examples of path shape, positive space. etc.

Coenraad Roegmans, then the director of the camp, was quite intrigued, and asked if I would formalize my observations into a document they could use in revitalizing the camp.

The renovation was begun at the next colloquium, when the participants, using just hand tools, created a new entry path and rolled one of the existing cabins to a better location.
