A much loved chapel surrounded by underutilized ancillary spaces.

My plan was to plant a "renovation seed" in the fabric of the church, by reviving the small apartment in the complex, but charge "rent" in the form of renovation work on the building that would gradually transform it into a solar heated complex opening onto new terraces, garden spaces and an indoor/outdoor cafe attracting students from the University into the church's community.
