The lower floor of this immense church is used for everything from Saturday night disco to Sunday morning folk mass. In a "surgical" renovation, the finishes were largely kept intact, while upgrading and adding to the facilities, to make the space function better.

After completing this very low-cost project, I continued to work with the Paulist Fathers, whose home church this is, designing new facilities elsewhere in this large monastic complex.
